"Cowgirl Howdy" by Sharon K. Hunt
To Be the Best By Bernard Price Have always admired the cowgirls From years gone by ‘til now. Many a ranch they manage To make them thrive they vow.
Nothing seems to faze them. Can handle any chore, Round-ups, branding, cattle drives All that and so much more.
They also entered rodeos With courage faced each test, Becoming quite well known As they traveled in the west.
Motherhood they don’t forget Great families have been raised, Gals followed mother’s footsteps Along the trail they blazed.
When thinking ‘bout the west Remember the cowgirls’ role, So much they did accomplish To be the best their goal. |
